Parrish Red Avocado
SW-C-1 Avocado (Parrish Red)

The striking Parrish Red avocado SW-C-1 ripens to a deep red color. An ultra-rare local variety propagated from a tree in Parrish, Florida by our friend Wayne Clifton. Planted only two years ago as a 3-gallon tree, the vigorous grower has produced its first half dozen fruit and is already due for size-control pruning. This was the first year of fruiting for our Last fall’s post-Irma pruning on our Persian lime tree NE-D-1 worked wonders for its branch structure, and it’s yielded a nice summer crop. Naturally, we are eating as many as we can, but fifteen will be included with this week’s delivery to Jessica’s. Big, freshly harvested, rich-flavored, and Sarasota-grown.
