The Keitt mango is a fine late-season mango, whose fruit can remain on the tree for an extended period. We’ve begun harvesting ours in early August in anticipation of a visit from a mango-loving friend.
Update September 1: It turns out that the friend couldn’t visit, but the delicious Keitt mangos have not gone to waste. We just harvested five more this morning. Looks like one of the ring-tailed forest gods already took some bites out of one, boo hoo.
