Caloosa Rare Fruit Exchange November Meeting

November 7, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The November meeting of Ft. Myer’s rare fruit tree organization will feature a presentation by yours truly, SweetSong Grove owner Darryl McCullough. The talk, Fruit Tree Paradise, will cover a number of topics including fruit tree horticulture and the role of locally grown tropical fruit in Florida’s Suncoast’s food markets. And of course a bit about SweetSong Groves.

Some special instructions for parking and entering the Fort Myers-Lee County Garden Council Building.

  • Park in back of the building in field closest to Larchmont Ave.

  • The actual address is 2166 Virginia Ave. though only four cars can park inside the fences and we need to reserve those for members who can’t walk far.

  • Drive on McGregor Blvd from downtown, turn left on Larchmont Ave. at the SW Florida Water Mgr. Building just before The Edison Estates.

  • Building will be on your left before the next intersection.

  • There is ample parking, very close to entrance into the room.

Come at 6:30 p.m. for social time and 7 p.m. for the presentation.
