EG-D-2 — Sapodilla (Alano)

Many people consider Alano to be the best variety of sapodilla. The medium-sized fruit is smooth and rich-flavored. The tree is tough and hardy even for a sapodilla.

This Alano was obtained in a 25-gallon container from Pine Island Nursery in April, 2017 and began commercial production in 2018.
