EG-B-3 — Jaboticaba (Sabara)

EG-B-3 is a Sabara jaboticaba, obtained from Fruitscapes Nursery on Pine Island in a 45-gallon container in February, 2017. It’s first commercial harvest went to market at Jessica’s Organic Farm Stand in April, 2018. Sabara’s vary, as they are grown from seed, and EG-B-3 has more seed than some— usually a couple of mid-sized seeds— but an especially rich, complex flavor. It’s one of our favorites.
