SUMMARY:Special Eat Local Week Presentation: Fruit Tree Horticulture 101
DESCRIPTION:The Tropical Fruit Society of Sarasota’s October monthly meeting will be an Eat Local Week event\, at which I will give a presentation on Fruit Tree Horticulture 101. This will be a very special presentation aimed at new or wanna-be growers in our area. It will start from the basics to try to get these new growers off to a good start. And we hope that experienced growers may pick up a little thing or two\, or at least some different ways to explain the basics. The Society’s meetings are $5 for guests\, but annual dues are only $10 (or $20 for household). A wonderful way to meet other growers\, from beginner to advanced\, all sharing their experiences. And the tasting table and plant raffle tables\, as usual.
