NW-A-1 — Loquat (Big Jim)

Anchoring the northwest corner of our groves is Big Jim, a sturdy loquat tree that stood up to Hurricane Irma in the fall of 2017. Acquired in early 2014 from the Crowley Nursery, it is fast growing and productive. We have been thinning the fruit and hope for our first commercial crop in the late winter of 2018.
