NW-C-7 — Avocado (Oro Negro)

One of the richest-flavored avocados we have come across is the Oro Negro. Although its productivity is not the equal of some varieties, it’s gained favor with some of Florida’s commercial growers.

The tree is a vigorous grower, Planted as a 3-gallon tree in March, 2016, it’s already producing and ready for size-control pruning after harvesting of this year’s crop of around twenty fruits. An interesting variety that will be fun to watch in coming years.
